Here is a super simple 2-step homemade Pesto recipe you can toss with your fave pasta.
Perfect for those nights you crave some comfort food.
PLUS+ it will give your immune system a boost as you relish in garlic bliss.
I guarantee it will taste A MILLION times better than the stuff you get in jars and bags!

Ingredients: (Serves 2)
½ cup Basil leaves
¼ cup grated Parmesan
3 large cloves fresh peeled Garlic
2 tbsp toasted Pine Nuts
2-3 tbsp EVOO (add more if you like a runnier sauce)
S[alt] + P[epper]
Directions:
Toast the pine nuts on medium heat in a dry pan for 3-4 minutes until lightly golden in color and fragrant. Remove to cool.
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
Toss with your fave pasta + fixings
*Health Tip: Substitute regular pasta with spiralized zucchini pasta to reduce your intake of sugary carbs and to up your greens for the day. 😉
