The ONE thing you must do to reboot your body after the holidays

Wowzas! That was a long blog break wasn’t it?!? I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and got all the stuff experiences you wished for and more.

This was a super special Christmas for me because it’s the 1st time in 5 years I’ve been able to spend the holidays with my family since I’m no longer living on the opposite side of the country. It was very special because we got to wholeheartedly enjoy each other’s company, doing things we usually don’t get a chance to do because we’re always on the go.

It was also incredibly special because I got to reconnect with old friends I haven’t hung out with or even seen since the university days….which was a loooooooonnng time ago.

As you can guess we bonded over different get-togethers that somehow always revolved around food and drinks, and as much as I loved the time spent together, I ate too much, over-indulged on tasty but not the best food choices, and now my energy level and midsection are paying the price.

My guess is that you’re in the same boat too and are looking for some quick and simple fixes to detox, cleanse and reboot your body to curb that sluggish, tired, bloated feeling…and to fit comfortably in your pants again.

So I want to invite you to join me on a challenge!

You’ve probably heard about the amazing benefits of drinking lemon water in the morning….and if you haven’t, scroll down to the bottom of this post to get my coles notes version of why lemon water is amazing for your body and what you need to do.

My challenge for you is to drink a glass of lemon water everyday for the next 30 days, first thing in the morning before doing anything else. I want you to observe how your body changes over the month and come back to leave a comment to share your experience. Trust me, you’re going to see some awesome changes! And you’ll probably kick yourself for not starting this regimen earlier!!!

Lemon Water Cleanse

If you’re not so sure about this, let me tell you why this is THE BEST thing you can do for your body.

BENEFITS OF DRINKING LEMON WATER
  1. Flushes out toxins
  2. Stimulates digestion
  3. Reduces inflammation
  4. Boosts the immune system
  5. Excellent source of Vitamin C
  6. Freshens your breath
  7. Alkalizes your body to prevent disease
  8. Relieves constipation and reduces bloating
  9. Keeps your skin blemish free
  10. Helps you lose weight
Squeeze the juice of 1/2 a fresh lemon into a glass of warm filtered water. Drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and watch it work it’s MAGIC!

* Some Handy Tips:
  • Use a straw to limit acid from the lemon water from damaging your teeth
  • Rinse your mouth out with water immediately after
  • Wait 30 minutes to brush your teeth to prevent enamel erosion

My prediction is that you’ll radiate a glow you never expected and have a stronger immune system to fight off those nasty bugs/viruses that keeps making its rounds this time of year. Will you join me?
